# Release Notes — 2.82 Covers the **2.82** release series. Most recent patch: **2.82.2**. _Unless a subsection says otherwise, changes apply to both Monad SaaS and self-hosted._ ## New features & improvements - **Terraform provider docs in the Platform tab** — a new Terraform section covers getting started, best practices and current limitations of the Monad Terraform provider. [Docs →](https://app.monad.com/docs/terraform) (2.82.1) - **Guide: sending data to Panther via S3** — the former Panther S3 page is now a step-by-step user guide. [Docs →](https://app.monad.com/docs/guides/panther-s3) (2.82.1) ## New connectors - **Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM (output)** — sends your data to a Cortex XSIAM HTTP Log Collector, so events processed in Monad land in XSIAM for detection and investigation. [Docs →](https://app.monad.com/docs/outputs/palo-alto-cortex-xsiam) (2.82.1) - **Google Threat Intelligence IOCs (input)** — collects high-confidence indicators (files, URLs, domains, IP addresses) from Google Threat Intelligence (Mandiant) hourly threat lists, filtered by GTI score, for detection and enrichment. [Docs →](https://app.monad.com/docs/inputs/google/google-threat-intelligence-ioc) (2.82.1) ## Fixes - **HTTP output can be created without batch settings** — batch settings are documented as optional, but leaving them out failed; the defaults now apply. (2.82.1) - **Large "records observed" counts display compactly** — big numbers in the schema drift records-observed view now use compact notation. (2.82.1) - **HTTP inputs accept legacy API keys again** — HTTP-based inputs, including OpenTelemetry, could reject API keys created before June 26, 2026 with a 401; they are accepted again. Self-hosted installs on 2.82.0 or 2.82.1 that supply `JWT_SIGNING_KEY` through `api.externalsecret` without enabling `http-input.externalsecret` should upgrade to 2.82.2. (2.82.2) ## Breaking changes - **Terraform and API: the Databricks Lakehouse output no longer accepts a top-level `batch_config`** — batch settings moved under each write mode in 2.79.1, and the old `settings.batch_config` key is no longer read. Existing outputs were migrated automatically, and the Monad UI is unaffected. **Action:** if you manage a Databricks Lakehouse output with Terraform or the API, move `batch_config` under the write mode (`settings.write_mode..batch_config`). Review the **Breaking changes** section above before upgrading; when it says "None," the upgrade is drop-in. :::
